By coincidence I detected my preference to Grasskiing. For five years I attended the skiing secondary school in Lilienfeld, Lower Austria. As we had only in winter the chance of an intensive alpine skiing training we tried to continue our stamina training in summer by grasskiing. After I finished school I began an apprenticeship for machine tool building. Because of the favorable working hours I have the possibility to do a sufficient daily training on the skis.

In 1995 I first tried to produce a racing ski on my own which finally lead me to my first World Championship title in 1997. Because of heavy demands of my products I founded "SPEEDY JACK" in 1998 and went into production with my grasskis. More and more I convinced not only racing sports but also mass sports by selling my skis to racers right after the contests. I am proud to be able to claim that 85% of all European racers drive my skis.
In 1999 I accomplished to defend my three titles successfully at the World Championship in Gaal and I achieved also a second place in the super G competition. Of course I am looking forward to the future, hoping for some further successes.
